2023 Ravenswood Australian Womens' Art Prize Finalist

I was thrilled to be selected as a finalist in the Ravenswood Australian Womens' Art Prize, from a record 2042 entries!  Held at the Ravenswood School for Girls, this is Australia's richest prize for women artists.

After being invited to be a finalist in the 2022 Kedumba Drawing Award, my work Shadow Play was acquired by the Trustees for the Kedumba Colleciton of Australian Drawing.  Since its inception in 1990, the Kedumba Collection of Australian Drawings is considered to be of outstanding significance in fostering appreciation of the medium of drawing.  

 

 


 

  

2022 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, Honourable Mention

Out of thousands of entries from around the world, I was selected as a finalist in the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize (Traditional Art Category), and awarded an Honourable Mention by Beautiful Bizarre Magazine Editor-in-Chief Danijela Khra Purssey.

 

 


 

 

2022 Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award Finalist

I was absolutely thrilled to be selected as a finalist in the 2022 Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA).  The 2022 JADA attracted over 600 entries, with 56 finalists selected. This biennial award is one of Australia's most prestigious drawing prizes, seeking to promote innovation and excellence in the field. After the initial award ceremony and exhibition at Grafton Regional Gallery, the JADA will continue its touring legacy, travelling to regional audiences across the East Coast of Australia throughout 2023 and 2024. 

 

 


 

 

 2022 Muswellbrook Art Prize Finalist

Nothing Happened Today was selected as a finalist in the prestigious Muswellbrook Art Prize Works on Paper, exhibited at the Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre. Established in 1958, the Muswellbrook Art Prize is a $70,000 acquisitive prize across the categories of painting, works on paper and ceramics. Medium alone acts as the theme of the Prize, as it captures the diverse subjects and practices of contemporary artists working throughout Australia.
