2015 Moments Are the Only Thing We Have
Time is elastic, and emotions are powerful but fleeting. Things happen that we never expect, things that shake our world and threaten to overwhelm us. Hearts brim with joy or come close to breaking, swell with passion or wrench painfully in grief. Tears spill and laughter erupts. We weep and laugh and scream and cry, rage against our fragility and helplessness, and come to the painful realisation that nothing is permanent. All the intensity of being human rises up in a single moment. And then that moment passes, and we are caught up in the pattern of life and living once again.
Moments are the only thing we have.
