2017 The Space Between

 

There are spaces between things if you know where to look. There is that moment between night and day when time is suspended between the one passing and the other yet to come. When the sun goes down the lines between reality and illusion become blurred, shadows disappear into the darkness, and anything becomes possible. That space also exists in the threshold between life and death. It is between love and loss when you only know what you had after it is gone. Between dreaming and waking as you slowly come out of the depths of slumber. And between madness and sanity when we cannot tell the difference between one and the other. We could easily become lost in that space, slipping into an alternate reality when the familiar becomes strange and we lose all sense of time.
